The apartment is situated in the center of the market town Schnaittach. Within walking distance you will find numerous shops, bakeries, butcheries, cafés and supermarkets.

Schnaittach is located approximately 20km northeast of the historic city Nuremberg and 25km east of the university town Erlangen. The Autobahn A9 is only two driving minutes away.

Schnaittach has a train station with hourly connections to Nuremberg central station – ideal for a daytrip to explore the sights of this historic city. If you arrive by train we offer a free luggage transfer.

Schnaittach is situated at the bottom of the mountain “Rothenberg” (482m above sealevel). On the top of Rothenberg you can visit the ruin of a medieval fortress.

The region is perfect for various outdoor activities like hiking, rock climbing, kayaking and biking. Only three kilometers away you can visit the Bikepark Osternohe.

In winter you can go skiing on the nearby mountains (T-bar lifts) or go cross-country skiiing.
During the summer months, the nearby outdoor swimming pool of Schnaittach is the perfect place to spend a day.

The tourism region Franconian Swiss is also just half an hour drive away. Here you can go hiking along beautiful rivers and enjoy a traditional Franconian lunch.
